Frozen Elegy (Demo Available Now~!)

Originally, I had titled this game 'Expedition 0' but I have since renamed it - redone the title screen & a few little bits here and there. This a work in development purely made as a passion project / hobby. Any feedback is massively appreciated, I do work full time so this is a slow project~ 

The game DOES contain adult themes (swearing, sexual references, brief nudity, violence, war themes etc) so beware. 16+

Information

I know of some bits and pieces that need changing regarding some of the face graphics, sounds etc.

Please don't use mouse with this game, it messes up the footstep sounds! This will be addressed in future. :)

This is a game I am currently making ( just a little passion project!).

Story

The son of a military General - Magnar Valerio II has been considered a hero by many due to his feats during the great war. A war that took half of the world and left only the continent of Sharde as the only functioning haven for those still alive. All other countries to lose the war now stand in ruin, plagued by disease & famine. However, the winners did not get off so lightly either - with a murky black approaching the land and rations low - the military decides to send a group of soldiers on an expedition in search of additional land and resources...

however, they may find more than they're looking for.

Discover the world as Magnar and his team as they journey to the north. 

This is a story and character-focused game, with a heavy emphasis on the writing and character interactions. The gameplay is a traditional rpg style. 

Credit 

I was heavily inspired by games like Final Fantasy & Fear & Hunger. 

All sprites, tilesets, art, music, writing was created by myself. I am one person & I work full-time so please go easy on me if critiquing. I do plan on taking a small break from this project while I regain my energy. 

A few animated sprites are from tilesets, default RPGMAKER sound effects used,  plugins used from a variety of content creators. These will be credited in the future.
